Best thing to do is put together an initial plan of what you think your website structure needs to be – showing what the pages of the website are and how they link together. This allows you focus on the content and lets us give you an accurate price based on the number of pages and what they will contain. Then we need you to bring together all the content that you want to include in your new website…text, photos, videos, etc. Write your copy or we can ask our copywriter to work with you on this. We will also need all of your photographic files or we can help source library images or setup photography shoots. Video is now a ‘must have’ on your website, so think how this can be applied to your business. Collating content is the part that slows down the turnaround time of your website production…it is an essential investment of your time.
This depends on the size, scope and functionality that you want your website to have. It will also depend on the quick supply of your website content. We will detail the number of days it will take to produce your website, your job will then be booked into our workflow system and we will give you a production schedule/target date.
Once we know the scope and functionality of your website we will work out how many days this will take us to produce. We will calculate the costs and deliver our proposal. With a website, there will, of course, be other costs to consider such as domain names, hosting, training, website maintenance, and your SSL certificate. You may know the budget you want to work within…we can let you know what this can achieved.
Yes, your new website will be compatible with mobile devices and we will run checks on various devices prior to the launch of your site.
Yes, our policy is that all of our websites have security features and an SSL certificate implemented. Many browsers flag up websites as ‘Not Secure’ if they don’t have an SSL in place! Plus we are continually investing in the latest hardware and software such as premium security plugins, backup systems and a full Dropbox account to store backup copies of your site securely off-server through our annual maintenance service.
Yes, absolutely. You will have access to edit your website as much as you feel confident in doing…adding or updating text, photos and blog stories. Most companies come back to us to add new sections or change the structure etc. We will have training sessions with you, that we will video so that you can refer back to them at anytime… it is easy to forget processes when time has elapsed since your initial training.
All our new websites have the first 3 months technical maintenance performed at no extra cost. After this time, you can choose if you want to continue with the technical maintenance service using a monthly payment plan – we highly recommend that you protect your investment. A maintenance agreement will use software to ensure your site continues to be safe for customers to visit, as well as secure and fully functional – even as web standards continue to change. We also offer a content maintenance service, which would be a set amount of hours a month for adding text, photos, video and blogs etc – to help you keep the site up to date if you don’t have the time to do this yourself.
