Does it get harder to think of a new corporate event design each year that will make a lasting impression? We like a challenge!
For the past 10 years Eikon Design has create a striking custom stage set for Spirit AeroSystems Award Ceremony in The Park Hotel, Ayrshire, ensuring a strong representation of the company’s core values and strengths. This year we based our concept on the extreme strength of the ‘hexagon-shaped’ structures of carbon fibre… a key material used on Spirits production line. This strong shape fits well with their vision, invention, innovation, research, concepts, inspiration and creativity.
The stage set design of the 3D honeycomb structure and built in LED lighting gave us creative scope to change the lighting colour from washes of one colour to pulsing the hexagons from a mixed colour pallet. Two custom built projection screens were located at either side of the stage to run Spirit branding, animated hexagon graphics and presentation titles. We produced and edited a film of key historical events over 25 years and longer for their long-service awards.
The table setting theme was tied in with the Spirit stage set design, contrasting corporate colours of blue and adding a bold yellow, were used in the table event programmes, napkins and chair ties.
