The Five Sisters Bings (an industrial heritage site) became the seed from which to grow the new brand for West Calder. Shale bings are only found in West Lothian.
The West Calder brand design was adapted to reproduce well in signage large and small, as black and white boundary signage, finger post signage columns, external display cases and be in keeping with the look and feel of West Calder historic village.
